What You’ll Do
As a Human Resources Officer, you’ll partner with the HR Manager to deliver exceptional HR support and ensure smooth operations across the hotel. Your role will include:
- Recruitment Excellence: Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from crafting compelling job adverts to screening applications, shortlisting top talent, scheduling interviews, and communicating outcomes with professionalism.
- Seamless Onboarding: Welcome new hires with engaging induction programs, streamlined pre-employment documentation, and comprehensive orientation processes.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate, confidential employee files and HR databases, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal standards.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Monitor attendance, manage leave requests, and administer benefits like HMO enrollments, pension plans, ID cards, and staff uniforms.
- Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to labor laws, tax obligations, social security, and health and safety regulations, keeping the organization audit-ready.
- Employee Engagement: Plan and execute exciting staff initiatives, social events, and programs to boost morale and foster a collaborative culture.
- Performance & Development: Support performance appraisals, document processes, and coordinate internal/external training programs to drive employee growth.
- First-Line HR Support: Be the go-to person for employee queries on HR policies, procedures, and welfare, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Data-Driven Insights: Maintain HR metrics and dashboards to support workforce analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with regulatory bodies, service providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth HR operations.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll bring the following qualifications and skills:
Educational & Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a structured environment, ideally in hospitality or a service-focused organization.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIPM, PHRi) are a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with HR software and a solid understanding of HR policies and statutory compliance.
- Exposure to multicultural, customer-centric environments is highly desirable.
